National Aboriginal Hockey Championships – Team Eastern Door and the North Tryout Camp

The 19th Annual National Aboriginal Hockey Championships will be taking place on May 5 to May 12, 2019, in Whitehorse, Yukon. This memo is to officially invite all interested male and female hockey players at the double or triple letter level and coaches to make the application to team Eastern Door and the North (EDN).


Team EDN will be having their tryout camp on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23, 2019, at the :

Kahnawake Sports Complex

Registration fees

$50.00 per person, to be paid before the first ice session.

Please note that transportation, meal and accommodation fees are the responsibility of the player.


Age group is as follows:

Male: Birth year: Born 2001 – 2005 inclusive

Female: Birth year: Born 2001 – 2005 inclusive


Head Coach – Development 1-certified

Assistants – Coach 1-certified

Female: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Male: 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Female: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Male: 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Saturday, March 23, 2019

Female: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Male: 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Male: 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Please note that players selected to be part of women and men teams will have a $ 1500 fee to pay to participate in the Championship in order to cover a portion of the cost of the flight, accommodation and meal expenses.
